Road & Green Belt Mitigation

Road & Green Belt Mitigation Projects

Wildfire mitigation work is done throughout the fire district by volunteers, prioritizing evacuation routes and public areas. It includes activities such as trimming branches overhanging evacuation routes, removing trees along roadways, and removing the resulting slash. This helps reduce risks to residents and first responders, and creates and maintains accessibility and navigability for first responders.
